Hi Annemarie, it's me Ellen, hope you are having a good life at your house, say a hello and a big thanks to your mom and your uncle from my whole entire family, hope everyone in your family is okay, because if not you and your family we could of been caught or even killed by the German soldiers.
  I really wish that I could see you again, we are best friends after all, right now I'm at my house with my parents, I hope I see you as soon as possible.

 Hi Ellen, I miss you so much, my uncle is okay, but my mom tripped over a root when she was going back from the place she was taking you back from, she broke her ankle, but days after days she is getting better.
  Kirsty misses you a lot, she never forgets how were the times when you played with her and made her paper dolls.
  I hope we see each other again miss you, bye.

The Over night

  The 5th grade overnight trip was amassing, first we unpacked our bags and listened to some camping rules, then we had a choice between picking to go dune bashing or dune hiking, I picked hiking because I was dune bashing before, and I was really glad I picked hiking, because it was a lot of fun.
  After that we had some free time so we can clean our selves up, later we had dinner and a big camp fire, then after a such a long and energy-taking day it was 9:45 lights out.
  The next day an Omani woman came and tough us how to make olden days Omani bread, then we road camels, and had the same way back home on the same busses.
  The overnight trip was awesome!

Electronics & Magic

  At math, we we're making some weather data for a hole month. And today our electronic teacher thought
us how to do different things like adding, subtracting, finding medean and range, also some other stuff. The first thing was how to add numbers, and when we saw the teacher do it everyone was shoked! He just copyed some tempereture data, then then he just picked a command somewhere in the corner, and the minimum of the whole data of temperature showed bellow.

  Then he did the same thing with the maximum, range and the mode, only in the commands he was using wasn't a median, and that's when everyone had to turn on their brains, thou our teacher Mr.Hoffman asked us how to get the median when we are just doing it on a normal paper, and everyone said that they just subtract the minimum from the maximum, and then Mr.Hoffman took the minimum and subtracted it from the maximum.

  So now everyone in our class knows how to do math on the computer and more faster...

Forces and motion:Slikshot

  When we were at science a few days ago I had so much fun, we brought three ball to the field, and also a big slinkshot, well it was't really a that it was a string and we had two people holding it from both ends, and we put the ball in the middle.
  We had a pink pong ball, a golf ball, and a squash ball.
  First was the pink pong ball, well it hadn't got that far because it doesn't mass a lot, and the wind just blew it backwards.
  Next up was the Squash ball, it was actually much better and went across the whole field, and that's because it whieghts more than the pink pong, or it has more mass.
  Finally the most interesting part, the golf ball, and we didn't even try to shoot it because evaryone knows that when people play golf the ball can go almost as far as they want it to go,plus a power of slinkshot is even stronger.
  So now I know that the havyer the object is the farther it can go, thow it probably go that far if its to heavy.

Forces & Motion

  When we were doing our science, I learned that friction is a force that can let things stop.
If there was no friction people, cars, and everything else wont be able to stop.
Well it's a really good thing that friction is almost everywhere, the only places that don't
have a lot of friction are ice, wet road, well basicly everything elles that is wet.
Friction is a really fun thing to learn about, and a really good thing to know. 

Doon essay

DOON HARROW

 

 

A lot of people might picture Doon  a stomber and boring person.

Well my opinion is that he is sometimes funny

I think than doon is funny, not all the time but just sometimes.

When Doon was a kid, he pretty sure was having fun like everyone did,he probably just have grown up and started being more series  

about things. For example, when Doon and Lina were in 4th grade they were playing games like climbing up the pole that was holding a light bulb on top of it.

 Doon is also very very brave, he never gives up even in the hardest times when Poppy and Lina were in the boat with him, he did not give up on finding the candle in a pitch black hallway when their boat was

going from one side to another. In fact, Doon could of just left Lina and Poppy back in Ember,and when he picked up Poppy while the

blackouts, that was pretty brave in my opinion.

 I think that Doon is also really smart. He can fix different things like, clock, and and different items like that. Besides he is also smart in a logical way, like when he was helping Lina figure out where to put the missing words in the instructions, or figuring out that the way out of ember was to go down the river, and that is really genius, because I don’t think anyone thought that the egress out of Ember was down the river when they were reading the book.

 In a very short way, Doon is just a part of a humorous person,a part of an adventurer, and a part of a smarty guy.
